Love Campaign

This Valentine’s Day, we’re inviting you to share the love by partnering with one of our twelve incoming students. Each of these young women need one to three sponsor(s) and this monthly investment provides food, safe-housing, child care, medical support, uniform and clothing, hygiene items, and more.

Neema Grace Partners, Josh and Daisy Isler, said, "Actually putting a face behind what we’re supporting and having tangible things like letters have really just made it more meaningful and made us continue to want to be involved. The best part of being a Grace Partner has been watching these young women grow and hearing in their perspective how much being a part of this program has changed their life so significantly. To hear their appreciation and the hope that they have for their future is really incredible.”

Becoming a Grace Partner is your personal connection to restoring and empowering a Neema student. Join us after the service at one of our church partners or click here for more info.

Solidarity Stomp

At Neema, we often talk about the power of community, of going together and reaching further because we’re not alone. Last year, about 200 other people from 7 states and 13 countries participated in our Solidarity Stomp.

This year, we hope to surpass the number of participants and raise $18,500! Click here to register for our 3rd annual virtual Solidarity Stomp and invite your social followers, friends, and family to join you in this virtual race on May 13-15. When we all join together from different locations around the world, we can have an even greater impact!

Be sure to save your favorite images below to share them on social media and encourage your friends and family to join you in “stomping” for the young women at Neema!

What's a virtual race? It’s a race you do at your own pace, from wherever you're located, and in your own way. Join us anytime between May 13-15 from wherever you're located. You can decide to run, walk, hike, bike...whatever gets you moving!  The full distance is 11.67 km(*) (7.248 mi), and the half distance is 5.83 km (3.624 mi).

Whatever you decide, just do it in the allotted time frame. That way we’re all doing it “together.”

Be sure to tag @neemaproject with #WeTrekkedToKenya2022 and #NeemaSolidarityStomp. We’ll share your posts on our Instagram stories when you tag us during your training leading up to the race weekend and also during your run! Our top 5 fundraisers will also get a special shoutout on our social media platforms the Monday after the race and receive a Neema gift.

We’d love it if you stand in solidarity with the Neema Community!

*11,665 km is the distance between our home base in West Chester, PA and the Neema school in Kitale, Kenya. 5,832 km is half of that.

Love Campaign

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8

Love. We are created for it. We are designed in its very image. Yet the brokenness of this world often separates us from it. At Neema, we have the opportunity to restore love in the life of each student. This Valentine’s Day, YOU can help make this love a reality.

Come learn about Neema's Grace Partnership and Grace Collective programs which help make our work possible. We'll be sharing about what it means to be a member of these monthly donor programs and how you can join others in having a long-term impact in rural Kenya. Don’t miss it!

Valentine's Day Campaign

DSC_2635-Edit.png

You can share LOVE with a Neema student this Valentine's Day! It’s this love that makes healing possible.

As our 30 new and returning students settle into life at Neema, our prayer is that they’d know beyond all doubt that they’re loved, especially as they begin processing and healing from past wounds and building trusting relationships.

Irene, our Residential Department Administrator, says, “Counseling will help our students deal with their inner world as they gain control over feelings of fear, anger, depression, and guilt - they will change their thinking patterns from self-hate, worthlessness, and distrust. Counseling will help them make effective choices, take responsibility, and above all, they will know how God loves each of them unconditionally. He knows each of them by name and does not look at their mistakes."

Third-year student Jentrix says, "I have learned to stay with people while at Neema. I used to rarely share with others and lived in isolation. But I have learned to smile from Neema and I am so excited that God has changed me so much - I feel completely different."

Trauma counseling, and the healing that takes place because of it, is a rarity in Kenya. But it’s made possible at Neema because of people like you who continue to invest in love with your support. And we are grateful.

This Valentine’s Day, join us in communicating love to these courageous young ladies in rural Kenya by making a one-time donation towards the healing of hearts.

Neema Solidarity Stomp

At Neema we often talk about the power of community, of going together and reaching further because we’re not alone. And even though our current circumstances mean we have to be apart, we can still stand together in solidarity for the things we care about...like Neema!

How can we support Neema TOGETHER, even though we’re apart?

On the weekend of May 14th-16th we’re holding a Virtual Race for Neema Project. What’s a virtual race? It’s a race you do at your own pace, in your own way - run, walk, on the treadmill, on the trail. You choose! Whatever you decide, just do it in the allotted time frame. That way, we’re all doing it “together.”

Neema Runs Ragnar 2019

Our Neema team of runners will be off to Ragnar’s Reach the Beach in New England on Friday, September 13th — Saturday, the 14th! They’ll be starting their adventure in Bretton Woods, NH, running along alpine lakes, rolling hills, covered bridges, and scenic expanses. After two days of running (including night time!), they’ll finish up at Hampton Beach.

We have 12 runners participating in this 200+ miles race in support of Neema. They’ve taken the plunge to run through the night to raise awareness for the vulnerable young women of Kitale, Kenya. They run for these girls, fighting to go another mile so the Neema girls can have a brighter future!

We have a team fundraising goal of $18,000. Please do consider supporting us through a donation on our team fundraising page.
