17/30 #30DAYSOFPRAYER

Praying HOPE over our girls today. “Hope is not an emotion; it’s a way of thinking or a cognitive process. Hope is a combination of setting goals, having the tenacity and perseverance to pursue them, and believing in our own abilities. ” (From The Gift of Imperfection)

We ask God to FILL our girls with this supernatural hope today.

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 )

The following was written by our Sponsorship coordinator, Eileen Roche;

“Thread- imagine the importance of such a simple word to young women learning the skill and art of dressmaking. Hope is the thread that weaves its way through the lives of 37 girls learning to sew a straight seam or follow a complicated pattern. Hope is the common thread that resounds in their dreams for the future. As with all thread, the cord of hope is strengthened when intertwined with fibers of encouragement.

Our hope is that supporting one of our girls will result in a fulfilling experience for both student and sponsor. To learn more about sponsoring one of these young women select the Sponsorship tab from the main menu."
