30 DAYS OF PRAYER - DAY 10

"The Lord reigns forever..."
Psalm 9:7

"... and the righteous stand firm forever..."
Proverbs 10:25

"... and the fruit of righteousness will be peace; and the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever."
Isaiah 32:17

The clouds hang low on the mountains, so that sometimes we can hardly see the familiar peaks. Sometimes the stars, too, are nearly covered. But always, just when it seems as though the mountains are going to be quite lost in the mist, the higher peaks push out and, whereas the dimmer stars were veiled, the brighter ones shone through.

Even if the clouds had wholly covered the face of the mountains, and even if not one star shone through, the mountains would still stand steadfast and the stars would still shine bright.

Our feelings do not affect God's facts. We may not see the shining of His promises - but still the shine! And the strength of the mountains - that is His also!

Feelings come and go, like the clouds. But the "hills" and "stars" abide.

My Father, as we pray for the NEEMA girls, anchor their life and their thoughts and their wills, in these facts. You are. You rule in heaven and on earth. You call them "righteous" because they are in Jesus, your son. No matter what comes their way, let them stand firm forever in Your strength.
