Preparing Mandazi

Step 1 - Ingredients

1. 4 kgs of wheat flour 

2. a cup sugar 

3. 2 tea spoon 🥄 

4. 1 packet of baking powder 

5. cooking oil

 

Step 2 - Preparing of dough

1. combine flour, baking powder and sugar 

2. mix cooked oil with warm water 

3. knead for about 12 minutes 

4. let dough rest for a few minutes 

5. divide the dough in 20 equal round balls. 

6. spread every ball in a flat surface 

7. cut the flat  dough into 4 equal parts
 

Step 3 - Frying the dough

1. heat oil at 400f to 500f

2. turn down a few times till it is golden brown 

 

Step 4

Let's cool down to drain oil off 

They are ready for human consumption!
