30 DAYS OF PRAYER - DAY 12

"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus... Continue to work out your salvation... For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."
Philippians 1:6, 2:12-13

There are countless promises given to us by the Lord for times when things are hard. A promise of "I will never leave you or forsake you"  (Deuteronomy 31:6; Joshua 1:5), was given to Moses, and then to Joshua. And then in Psalm 118:6-7, " 'I will never leave you or forsake you.' So we may say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper' ".

We are not meant to shake with fear.

Over and over again we have seen the Lord do impossible things. He delights in the impossible!
And He delights to meet the faith of one who looks to Him and says, "Lord, you know that I cannot do this - but I believe that you can!"

My Father, so often our NEEMA girls rely on themselves to be strong enough - to be good enough, thinking that they have to make themselves presentable to You and worthy of Your love. Help our girls, today, to cease from their inner striving... to rest in You... knowing that You will see them through every temptation.
