Exciting campus construction updates and NEW video!

Program Director, Irine, explains why our current facilities are insufficient for our students health and growth. Listen as she describes how our new campus will provide a much improved environment for them to live, learn, relax, and heal.

From all of us at Neema, Happy New Year! We look forward to partnering with you in 2023 to move Neema’s mission forward and lift vulnerable young women and their children out of extreme poverty through skills training, counseling, and discipleship.

Wise, Class of 2024

As you hopefully saw, in October 2022 we started our Securing Her Future campaign to double Neema’s impact and raise $550,000 to build our own campus by 2024. So far, we have already received close to $260,000 through donations and pledges! We are so grateful!

We are also thrilled to announce that one of our faithful donors has generously offered to lend Neema the necessary funds so we can start construction of our new campus immediately! This loan allows us to begin the building process now, as opposed to waiting until all funds are raised, thereby enabling us to double the number of vulnerable young women in our program as early as next year!

Because of this loan, our team worked diligently over the Holidays to make arrangements for construction to start this month. We brought electricity to the site, and we’re in the process of equipping our new borehole for access to water. As a result, construction will start in a few days! In the coming months we’ll share regular updates about the building progress via this newsletter and on our campaign website

If you have not yet made a gift towards the Securing Her Future campaign, please consider donating today. Even with construction starting, our goal of raising $550,000 by 2024 still stands, and we hope that you’ll join us in playing a role to empower even more young women like Wise out of extreme poverty.
